Shake Shack

This is the infamous Shake Shack burger… if you’ve ever visited Madison Square Garden in the summer and witnessed, or experienced, the line-up to order a Shake Shack burger, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s a controversial subject, whether those burgers are overrated. In my view, anything that you have to wait in a queue that long for is overrated.

Generally I’m more of a fat-patty, New York style burger person and Shake Shack fits more into the thin-patty, fast food burger category… unless it’s a thin-patty burger piled high with beetroot, aioli, caramelised onions, pickles, relish, etc – like a FERGBURGER, then I’m a thin-patty person. But generally speaking, i fit into the fat-patty category. So in my view, Shake Shack – queue or no queue, is overrated.

What is not overrated is their thick shakes, though. The thick shakes are pretty damn good – i think i had a salted caramel thick shake, a special, on my first and only visit. So if you visit, you really should try a thick shake.
