Take Me Now, Ice Cream

It’s hard not to get a little side tracked when you have newsletters like Tasting Table arriving pleasantly in your inbox each day… once again i’m here. Though, in my own defense, today’s email was about ice cream which is a little meaner than usual! Vosges Haut Chocolate had me just about foaming at the … Continue reading

Number 28

I had the yummiest pizza the other night! We saw a concert at Le Poisson Rouge (Katie Miller Heidke – look her up if you don’t know her) that didn’t finish till around 10 pm, so it was late and we needed somewhere to eat. We ended up just walking by No. 28 as it … Continue reading

Grand Sichuan

Grand Sichuan has become our go-to place for Chinese soup dumplings. The restaurant is only about 6 blocks down the street from us on the corner of 9th Avenue and 24th St and so far I’d rate it only second to Joe’s Shanghai (but not by much) for soup dumplings. The Park

Took The Bogan to lunch at The Park one sunny Friday to kick-off the July 4 long weekend. Had a pleasant experience but weren’t left wanting more. The food was satisfactory, nothing more, the service lacking, but the courtyard setting and people watching factor gave it something… especially on a sunny Friday.
